    Default Cruise control problem

The cruise control on my Vectra SRI V6 CDTI Auto, has developed a small fault, it all works ok until you try to speed up using the button on the end of the stalk, instead of speeding up it disengages the cruise control, sometimes it will work for a few seconds before disengaging. Anyone had any experinece of this?

your not touching the clutch pedal at all when doing it are you, as this will cut the C/C off.

I have the same problem and have been told it's the stalk too.

In fact, the way mine works it could be the clutch spring too ...

Is changing the stalk a simple swop over job ?

just give it a good hard pull straight out, can be a bit tight but they slide back in easy!! No programming required.....plug and play is what they say!!
