I have to say ive had problems with my car and still got noise coming off engine that nobody seems to notice but me and I had to get alternator replaced under warranty but every time I drive the car ut outs a huge smile on my face.its way ahead of the vectra/signum/siggy whatever in many departments, imo it looks better especially mine with vxline kit and twentys, its more comfortable, its faster and handles and drives way better than any of my old vectras/signum.i can give this opinion as I actually own and run one on a daily basis and not just around a car auction site lol. I know ive said my car is way better than the vectra/signum I would just like to add that I am hugely fond of these models and they are fab cars in every respect and having owned six different models of vectra c I feel km qualified to make these statements.

I love my vec Sri but to be fair if I could afford it at the mo I'd have an insignia they do look well apart from being a bit blingy around the front and I don't really like the rear as has been said the estate looks the better model, the inside is streets ahead of the Vec though

I love the interior in mine, the Recaros are superb and having satnav, Bluetooth & a USB port all adds to the feel of quality.
Obviously being a VXR the styling sets them apart from other Insignia models, you know it's a VXR from miles away, even though it's not Arden blue lol !
But, I hate having no rear wash/wipe as it's a saloon model !

Tbh its no really a can of worms mate its just a few members that actualy own and run an insignia giving their honest opinion on the their cars and from what I read .the guys that actually own one really rate them! Including myself.

I change from a vec c to an insignia. I won't be going back to a vec c.

Whether vec c owners like them or not is irrelevant to me.

I do always think of "siggy" as a signum, but in a dedicated insignia area of a forum, I don't see why it should matter. Bigger things I life to worry about.
