Just putting some Phillips Blue Blubs in the Veccy. As I've got the air box out what mod can I do to the air flow? Such I've seen a post on this.

Open the airbox and remove the filter. In the base there is a half round cover, remove this bit, replace the filter and refit into the car.
It does help to reduce the flat spots.
EDIT: Full write up HERE
Thanks.
Back under the bonnet in to ticks.
Semi related to this topic - is it true that 1 K&N filter fits all Veccy's, part number 33-2848? I have the 1.9 CDTi & I'm looking to start modding the motor to pep up the 120hp, filter seems the easiest place to start.
Strangely enough I was more than happy with the Vectra's performance until I joined this forum, now I can't wait for pay day!
It's all back together. Bulbs fitted, air dome removed (It was tough to remove forearm took the worst of it). air box cleaned and used vx air filter re-fitted. Would like to fit a K&N in there. Would this make any noticable difference? And does anyone have a part number, price, and where to get one for 1.8 2002 LS.
Don't ask for much do I.
Cheers

Part number is correct and is the same for most of the range. They are about £45-£50 available from most motor factors that stock K&N's.
Thanks for that Caterman. Soon as payday comes round again think I'll get one. Spent a little to much this weekend at LMF for her liking.
