Thumbs up Signum brake pad change

    Hi,
Just wondering if anyone knows of any specific problems when changing F&R pads on a 2.2dti Sig.
I've managed to loan a tool to wind in the rear calliper pistons, but have heard that the sensor wires can be a 'mare and are easy to snap.
I would be grateful for any advice or comments.
    Thanks

The sensor wires are just £6 each so not a great deal if you break them, and they don`t like coming out & going back in again. Might be wise to get a couple so they are at hand in case .

    Cheers,
Are the sensors on all four sets of pads or just two?

I onyl did the fronts on mine, got the garage to do the rears, sensor wire was on off side set of pads, so 1 sensor for front, and maybe 1 sensor for the rear.

I've just done the rears on my 1.8sxi and there is no sensor. It's just on the front.

The sensor wire can be bypassed, cut the end off and twist the two wires together completing the circuit again, if it only has one for all four calipers and it is only 6 quid I'd put one back on again to save you wearing the discs early, on both my Omegas they had two originally and they were 15 quid each!! and broke real easy even when putting a new one on, the later one had only one and it was a different design, but with both I cut the end and twisted, insulate the bare wire and tuck it away.
