Angry Too Expensive for Network Q!!!!!!????

As i've posted here i have a cold starting problem on my 2.0Dti. The dealer yesterday diagnosed the problem as injector seals and diesel pump, and ordered both to replace the parts next week. Today they phoned back saying that network Q want to see the problem for themselves, from cold, monday morning. No problem i said, i'll drop it down sunday. Whilst they arranged a courtesy car, network Q phoned back to say the car had to be removed from the road immediately untill further notice. The dealer then told me that cause its such an expensive job, network Q need to see it first, and decide whether its covered!!!!!!????? (wtf) My main worry is that they will say they aint gonna pay for it obviously. I am wondering where i stand, as the book clearly states that they will replace ANY faulty component, electrcal or mechanical!!! But they are thinking of not in this case!!!! Does this sound right to anyone? Has anyone else had network Q refuse to replace a part?

I don't think they can in this case, I've had them done before on my B, and a mate has replaced his a couple of times on his 2.2 Omega, it's not what I'd consider an expensive job in comparison to say a gearbox, sounds more like the dealer is fully booked up and are playing for time.

Oh, and when it comes back, check the back of the engine for turbo oil leaks.

Yeah with claims like that, i think it's so the dealer doesn't end up replacing something that doesn't need it by mistake, once Vx says ok, then it's ok.

Ah, nothing to worry about really then! Cool. I have to say though, they've been good as gold up till now with the warranty. Totally quibble free!
