They will shame any tyre, Michelin is the finest tyre you can buy imo.
What size are they, where did you get them fitted and how much? (if you dont mind me asking?)
I recently got a set of Goodyear Eagle NCT 5 215/55/17 cost over £400
I fitted Michelin pilot Primacy 225/45/17 extra load last year to the rear. Very impressed with them, but what difference is the sport 2 too the Primacy?
I have the Primacy's too - they are spot on and i've never had any trouble.
My dad has the Pilot 2's fitted to his 3.0 Xtype, they have a strange tread which makes them look bald from a distance. It's like half the tyre is almost a slick !!
His X type is 4x4 and off the mark the grip is superb, better than the Pirelli's he had previously. It goes like stink![]()

The primacy is a high performance type of tyre, the pilot sport as the name says is a pure sports tyre, different types of compound/construction to suit the type of car.The pilot sport cup even has a dual compound tread.
lol - I bet you noticed a difference!!Yep, I've been running with the Pilot Sport 2s for a while now and they are superb tyres. The new 18s that are arriving tomorrow have Dunlop Sport 01 on them and I'm hoping that there isn't a large noticeable difference between those and the Pilot Sport 2. I know they're not going to be quite as good, but hopefully good enough that I won't want to ditch the Dunlops straight away.
D
I have just fitted a set of Dunlop SP Sport 9000's to mine (235 35 19") and they are pretty good, but have only done 11 miles on them! But at £491 inc VAT I could not complain.
But next time, Michelins will be the order of the day!
