I noticed the write up & pics this morning on worldcarfans.com.

They talk about longer & wider wheelbase which would be fantastic, but looking at the pics it still has some seriously long front/rear overhangs. Hopefully, that is just the camo add ons giving it that look. The A pillars also seem to be thicker which I reckon is a good thing. Helps to give the car a nice solid look. Even more so than the Vec-C.

The anticipation for more spy pics & info is starting to build.

yeah i agree and thinking of it that the mondeo name has been out since
1993 the 1st k plate but vectra was out in 96 and if they do call it then
    insignia then it`ll be fantastic.

And contribute to massive blind spots which causes crashes at roundabouts, when pulling out of junctions and costs countless motorcyclists their lives.
I, for one, am in favour of smaller A pillars.

Ditto! I wouldn't want the A pillars any thicker - I already find the Vec C / Signum ones too thick at times.

Approaching a roundabout, with the angle you're looking at into a roundabout, the pillar can hide a small car that's on the roundabout!, never mind a small motorbike - same with certain junctions.
