i was looking at the irmscher-bits.com websites and they actually sell the bonding that comes with the irmscher kit, i think the big tube was priced at around 12 quid - but there is lots that you can use to secure it.

this may well be useless if the spoiler you are buying is brand new and comes with the glue

Dunno if this helps much but there are a few pictures of me sweating a bit whilst fitting my rear spoiler at a show last year:

Main thing is to make sure you measure and mark out accurately where you're gonna drill the holes.

I did this by putting masking tape on the boot where the spolier legs would sit and drawing round them. Then I used some paper on the feet of the legs to make templates then placed these on the masking tape lined up with where I'd drawn round the legs.

Once you have the holes marked, use a centre punch so that you have a guide for the drill to sit in as you don't want it wandering all over the boot lid!

Might need an extra pair of hands whilst attaching the spoiler.

the spoiler is brand new, and i think it screws on
even if it does screw on, do you think i would get away with just glueing it anyway?
