    Question Pioneer Install Problems

I have just removed my CDR2005 and installed a facia surround and Pioneer DEH-P6900IB.

I attached the ISO cable which came with the Pioneer but I cant seem to get any power to the head unit. Have I missed something as it seems just to be the 2 ISO connections.

Checked the fuses and they are ok

    Anybody help?

Might be the red and yellow wires need swapping. Vx uses a slightly diff. wiring than other brands, so if the red and yellow wires are split and have connectors in, try swapping them around (ie. plug the yellow into the red and vice versa).

Have you traced the wiring through the plugs to see what is matching up on the facia loom that corresponds to the original wiring loom. It might be worth matching these up to see what is going where m8.

No you don't. only if you decide you desperately want the ignition live. It works just fine without.

My Pioneer HU only has the permanent live feed...but for some reason, this is by means of a yellow wire that doesn't go into the quadlock connector, just hangs loose. I had to split the casing on the live feed from the battery, and connect it behind the quadlock...if you see what I mean.

No idea to this day why though

Is that any use to you?
