Thumbs down vectra c 2.0dti big letdown

Ive just got to say my 2.0 dti is such a big let down. The amount of things that have gone wrong and are going wrong on a 52 reg is a joke.
From the off;(1) new door seals as wind noise on drivers door,(2) then the wheels were 8deg out of true meaning new wheels and a 4 wheel alignment( 3) Trouble starting but has had pipes done and seals.{4} A/c leaking and quote is £250. (5) drivers and passengers door switches were flty(6) indicaters are now not working but it needs new panel to fix and expensive.(7) Now big oil leak and vaux mechanic says oil pump and talking over £1000 to repair as an all electrical unit.(8)Knocking from the back and stems from the wheels being so out of align that both swing arm bushes have gone £200 to fix again. This car is a 52 reg and these sort of problems should not be happening. Spoke to vaux mechanic and the injectors are going on the newer cdti's and are expensive to repair.
Come on Vauxhall give your customers some reliability as i'm getting rid and going for a Volkswagen.

    Thumbs down veccy22

After reading a few posts it looks like most of these problems are common. My manager has a 02 vectra and its been in dock loads of times but being a company car he isnt bothered. but new gear box, new seals, indicators tracking are a joke.

Tracking and gearbox can be how it is driven though. Driven and abused will cause things to go wrong.

All depends on life it has had.

    Default cdti

The Tracking was the original set up from manufacture and affected 100o's of 02+52 veccy c's and the gearboxes are very notchy and has been reported on this forum. nothing to do with how it's been driven. You should be able to drive them hard and not fall to bit's.

Dunno about that, if you could drive them hard all the time then they would be covered for track days under warrenty...... there is a reason they are not. Driven hard = lots of faults
Now I need a turbo to keep up!

    Default astrase20

Didnt mean drive till they are thrashed. My manager is a sensible driver but has had his gearbox changed as stuck from 2nd to 3rd. They just arnt built to good enough standards yet. Ask a vauxhall mechanic about 2.0dti's the story tells itself. The newer ones are probably better but injector problems.

Mine had a box at 112k, done 31k on the new box and its notchy - I think they all are, certainly almost all the Vx's I've owned have had slightly notchy boxes.

    It's just a trait I think.
