    Default New head-unit

    Hey folks.
First post and all that, so be gentle (and sorry if this is in the wrong place).

I've just bought a 99 2.0l Vectra LS - less than 1K and in very good condition - well chuffed!
I want to put my Pioneer DEH P80-MP into it and replace the crappy standard casette player, but I'm a bit confused as to which adapters to get. I've looked at about 10 different sites and all say different sets, ranging from about £10-£75.
As I'm not hopelessly lost, I thought I'd ask the experts!

I'm not bothered about it interfacing with the TrafficMaster (subscription expired ages ago and I don't need it) or the TID (it's starting to lose pixels and head-unit has a good enough display anyway), but I DO want to keep the steering wheel controls working.
    Any suggestions guys?

    Default Part numbers

(Do u have the vectra c? Might be a stupid question but i didnt think they made vectra c's in 1999 did they)
If so here's what u need:
Here are the part numbers for the fascia surrounds from Vauxhall.
They are just under £30 with the wiring kit aswell.
Aparently vx are the best to get the mfrom as they are exact colour match.

    Single DIN audio surround (charcoal-effect)
    93160594

Single DIN audio surround (metallic charcoal-effect)
    93160595

Single DIN audio surround (matt chrome-effect)
    93160596

You should be able to get the steering control wiring from Autoleads.
Just log on their site and email them your car and headunit details. They reply pretty quickly too.

    Thanks for the quick response!
    No, it's a Vectra B (last model I think - It's a V-reg, so late '99?). Knowing my luck that means I need a different set?
