confused Brake Pads - Which are best?

My brake pad warning light has come on, even though I reckon the pads are still Ok for a couple of weeks, just looking for some advice though. What pads would be recommended as in brand? You can get some good deals on Mintex pads but I don't know them at all/

I only have the CDTi 1.9 120 motor so I don't need EBC red pads or anything exotic, just looking for good brake pads that won't eat up the discs or break the bank.

Vx ones are very cheap if you can get trade on them, my last rears were £14 and the fronts will be cheaper iirc.

Vx OEM are good. For example for the 302mm discs the OEM pads are Ferodo! Don't buy the aftermarket (cheaper) Vx pads as they are nowhere near as good.

People say good things about GreenStuff pads, but I've never used them to be able to comment.

If you can prove you are in the motor trade or servicing/repairing vehicles (like in a company fleet). You can't just sign up purely based on being VAT registered - otherwise I'd have signed up!
