3rd Service

Hey guys, got my dads 54 plate 2.0 DTI serviced the other day at vauxhall, twas the cars 3rd service and its done 71,600 miles

firstly, when we got the car back and checked the service counter thingy in the rev counter display it said "31,000" thus meaning currently the car wont need serviced again till 31,000 miles time, although obviously I know the counter changes that interval constantly depending on your driving style.

anyway, all the cars services have been stamped in the "EcoService 1" section of the service book, and in the section you enter the date and mileage it was serviced it was "2/3/2007" "71,621 miles" but in the next service due date and mileage the dealership have written "2/3/2008" "91,621 miles"

hence why is the counter saying 31,000 miles to next service and the book is saying 20,000 miles to next service??

come to think of it, its the same for the cars other 2 services, 1st 1 done at 26,223 miles next 1 due at 46,223. 2nd service done at 47,900 next 1 due at 67,900 miles, WTF??

lastly is £110 a good price for a 3rd service for the above car??
not that the price matters, I work for arnold clark who own the dealership and got the service for 77quid
