Crunching noise

I get a crunching sound when i go over even a small bump in the road,it seems to come from the front passenger side of the car,near the wheel i think.
Also when stopped at lights,juctions etc.. there is a rattling noise from the same area on the front passenger side by the wheel (like metal touching metal) quite loud too.

I have just had both track rod ends done so it cant be that

What would be the next thing i could check and has anyone had the same problems??

Mmmm ! Maybe you drove over a hedgehog as i find that they do tend to crunch !!!
The next thing to check i'd say is if the said offending prickley chap is still stuck to the tyre !!!

check your anti roll bar mounting bushes..a few pounds each..and the anti roll bar links...and check it's had the spring seat mod done..

Banging from the suspension is normally the spring seats as they move under built up tension..

is there a part number for these spring seat mods? as wen i ask my dealer he looks at me stupid lol
