    Default how to take out ccr 6000 stereo

    hi just wondered if anybody could help? i have got a ccr 2006 stereo in a vectra c and i am struggling to get it out. i can release it with the keys and it will come out about an inch but then it wont budge anymore. i hope someone can help its doing my head in!!!

    Well if it's come out an inch that would indicate you've released the locking 'pins'. Have you tried just giving it a good tug (ooer missus) as it may just be getting slightly snagged on something.

    yes i did but if i pulled any harder the front of the radio would come off!!! the only other thing i can think is that when i bought the car there was a bluetooth car kit installed and the radio has been taken out before so could something be stopping it from coming out?

    Maybe whip out the glovebox and see if there is anything obvious fouling the back of the unit?

    Also, just thinking back from memory. I have a feeling that if you don't get the pullers engaged fully it will release a bit, but not fully. I can't go and look as my car is not here at the moment.

    i think the keys are in all the way! how to you take the glovebox out? could you give me a guide? cheers for help

    Three Torx screws along the bottom, open the glove box and two more along the top. Carefully lift out partly and disconnect the light connector before taking fully out.
