Yours is a cracking Vectra. I very much like what you have done and are doing with the car.

Replaced the battery tray whilst dodging the rain. The old one had a Headlamp Interface box bolted on with bolts that rusted and seized. It also had 2 rusty screws with nothing attached.
The Headlamp interface box had 3 wires that went to the dash but where they connected has long gone.
Out of curiosity, I unplugged the Headlamp interface box. This triggered a bulb failure error on the dash board and Check left main beam and Check Right main beam error messages on the CID.
I dug out the volt meter after plugging the unit and seems no voltage on the red cable and a small amount on the other two.
A day off and some more time to fiddle with the car. The headlamp interface box appears to be a box that sits in between the headlights and the xenon leveling sensors. It appears that they chopped the leveling sensor loom and diverted through the unit.

Its been a while but done a couple bits.
I stripped out the stray loom in the tailgate. This was a tilt switch that at one time had blue or red light that activated when the tailgate was lifted.
I also got rid of the chrome window surrounds in favour of the lower spec black trim which personally look cleaner and suit the the styling of the car better.
After a trawl on ebay found some covers for glovebox screws. Not sure if the facelifts had them but looks smarter.
Most of the old police loom went in via the bulkhead so needed to replace the old grommet used which has seen better days.

I sourced a locking glovebox handle which will need a new lock and a small cover for the glovebox. I suspect the cover is another example of the cut backs on spec for Facelifts or that the police removed it at build time.
Still looking for the tailgate trim black caps and the black caps that hold the side carpets in the boot.
I managed to source various trim caps to complete the trim parts around the glove box and boot. Just need to get some speaker screws as at least one went missing.
Finally sourced a signum elite interior thats heated and electric for my vxr recaro conversion.
So far the elite seats have been stripped down to seat foam and pads have been removed.
Next step is working out how to separate the foam, heated mat and the seat cover to seal over.
I also have a set of Signum rear doors with the blinds. The question is, do I install the blinds to?
