More map tweeks to the pedal files for a more defined off/on sports experience and to lay the way for further off sport power reduction.
Part of the solution, as this is working even better than before is some maps grafted from an 06 255 vxr which as standard has a good difference in the button pedal response wise.
This paves the way for Leons VXR map and changes he wants and any other ECU software versions.
I think its fair to say Teapot does the hard work with raw data files, then ive done the minor map alterations which yeah ok it is a pain to learn is just a graph. I think its learning to use the tools that's hardest.
Its faster for me to alter stuff as i have the 2,8t to load those modified files onto and test on the road.

just took out the hover and actually hovered the car out... i usually just use a dustpan and a brush to keep it tidy but i decided to give it a better clean out... well i'm glad I did it... finally got to the collection of sand between the seat and the doors and the same on the side of the mid-console... the rest of the interior got a proper cleanup too... so windows cleaned with a window cleaner, plastics cleaned with a plastic cleaner (uv-protection + dust repellent) seats cleaned with upholstery cleaner and hovered... car smells clean and looks a lot better
ps yes the car is washed and all the road grime from the last 2 weeks has been removed

I have been having white smoke on cold startup lately so I just went out and checked the glowplugs... well they are OEM Vauxhall so that was a relief right there but they were covered in soot.... usually that means they are damaged or not working well... in this case.... they weren't working well because of the amount of soot... I cleaned them up and found the tips to be in new state without even having to scrub them down sprayed them with an electrical contact cleaner and low and behold the tips came out as new...
than i thought let me just make sure they work right, so out came the multimeter ... all of them are within factory spec (ohm measurement) so I'll see later on or in the morning if that has solved the cold start white smoke thing as i know it's unburned fuel... it stinks of it anyway... so I hope the glowplugs will do a better job now that they are soot free.

If it helps, I've tested the standard glow plugs before by holding it in a vice at the hex head end, and then used a jump start pack (with isolator switch) to treat them to see if they glow nice and bright too, as well as the impedance (resistance) test

Got a new MOT with just an advisory of a slight exhaust leak. It lives for another year
