Done over the past few days, and geometry set today. One new rear subframe

Shame my brutal removal of the hubs to change the heatshields means I now have an ABS fault - under investigation ....

There was a company behind ats aylsham road that done my front subframe. Don’t know if still there ?

Mid range hubs fitted. ABS light now off and car is sooo much quieter. Didn't realise how tired the old ones were ( to be fair I've had an observation for slight play on the r/h side for years )

well I found an oil leak a bad one too... the rear crankshaft oil seal is leaking badly... it just means i have to remove the gearbox and the complete pressure group... and the worst bit is... weather has taken a turn for the worse and the part itself is sickly expensive at the dealer/ECP and most other car parts places.. so i ordered it online for 1/9th of the price asked by the dealer and it's the same brand too.. i just have to wait for it to be delivered and watch the car bleed while not being able to drive long distances until it's sorted...

yes i did chuck in some stop leak but with how it's leaking it won't really help but it has reduced it ... so i just put some cardboard under the car to catch all the oil that comes out.

Get a couple of kitchen trays while her back is turned put them under then nick a pouring jug and tip it back in

Nice easy day. Replaced the elbow joint for the drivers side washer jet as I broke it trying to fit the insignia jets I have. Bit of a game getting the remains of the old one out so just cut the whole bit of pipe.
Replaced the wipers and sprayed the wiper arms black as I've never liked the bluey black colour they were before and they were chipped and rusted.
