    Default GSi's workshop meet

had a little mini-meet down at ours yesterday..It all started when Phil asked could i look at his front suspension....and just snowballed from there..

Duncan's got 99% of the pics on his camera, so he might post them up

the list of activities ran to...

Duncan - new rear vented brakes and the 314mm GSI upgrade fitted to the front..
Big Phil - New anti roll bar bushes, links and the front spring mod fitted

Payney - New anti roll bar links, Spring mod fitted, and hacking another 35mm out of his ride height....

Plasma - New brakes all round and half a service ( wheres ya oil filter )

Spikey - service and fan switch and general lookover of the 'snot rocket'...

all started at 10...and home exhausted by 8.30...And i didn't even have to face Dean or spikes drive home....A BIG thanks to all who came..including Harry and R-man..I think we all enjoyed it didn't we...and a special thanks to mini-payney for pointing out the bits dean missed and generaly being the best behaved young lad i've ever come across....

    here's whats on my camera..

8.30!!!! D4mn you guys had a long day! i was wondering what time you guys would manage to be done by, as there seemed to be a mountain of work to get through.

Dean - i found a few bolts in my pocket when i got home, can't think which side i forgot to fit them for the brakes!!! hope you got home safely.

i'm only joking about the bolts BTW!

Courtesy of Spikey being the photographer for the day - cheers m8. I couldn't have taken pics and been spannering at the same time so at least we have some pics!

Yep, replacing the rear discs and pads on mine as the pads were getting somewhat close to being worn down. Straight replacement of 292mm vented with the same. Fronts upgraded from my 302mm setup to the 314mm setup recently bought from Matt.

    - I did wonder what time you'd get back home when we left you at 5pm with still a few things to do.

You're not the one who should be thanking us - most definitely the other way around. Thank you for all your time and running around between cars to make sure everything was all going to plan, and thanks for the workshop space to get it all done in!
