Ever since I changed to my headlights in the rain (not a good idea) one of them misted up quite badly all the time.
I tried taking the headlight off the car, taking all the bulbs out, and putting the whole headlight in the kitchen oven on a very low temperature for an hour or so, until all the mist/water had evaporated, but do to the fact it was the passenger side headlight, and the windscreen wash topup funnel is directly behind, water kept seeping in and misting it up again.
Well I had a brainwave!!
When you buy new electrical products, the come with a small SILICA GEL pouch inside. This comes in packages for electrical products, to stop moisture from damaging the products while in the packaging.
So, simply get one of these SILICA GEL packs, and put in the back of the headlight where the bulbs go, put the cover back on the headlight, and within 24 hours the misting up has gone
So the same will go for Rear lights too.
It's the small pack of little Silicone balls, usually has DO NOT EAT printed on the pouch.
Hope this helps someone like it did me.
Thanks
Dan
