Bumper colour variations

Hello again,
just a few words on the bumper colour issue that seems to be a problem on face lift Vectra's ( mine included ). My near side bumper has had to have a quick respray but only the very side, and has been carefully blown in before it starts to bend in around to the front of the bumper. The body shop manager did tell me before hand that it would have a slightly different tint or as he put it, reflect the light in a different way to the wing. He then went on to tell me that the metallic flecs very often fall in a different direction to other painted surfaces. The plastic V metal issue was also mentioned. All in all it doesn't look too bad, but it does depend on the light and what direction its coming from. I have put some pictures up of my bumpers, the factory fresh off side and the resprayed near side. I have also show what the ressrayed side looks like with the light reflected from a different angle ! If the pictures are not on this thread i will try to put them on a seperate thread.
