    Default spongey brakes

    any ideas got a vectra c cdti 19 est problem is the brake pedal is going to the floor its not loosing fluid tho

    when ya last get your pads done? much beef on the pads?
    faulty master cyclinder maybe? are the brakes cra*p or does she still stop ya ok?

    they still stop me and the pads are quite new i was thinking the master cylinder too hope its covered on net q

    yea should be, only time iv heard of them going faulty on a vauxhall is if ya change your pads, push the piston in the caliper in without loosening the bleed nipple

    Same issue with my Signum... If I bleed the break system it will be fine for a few weeks or so, but then same thing again... Master cylinder has been replaced and break pads are just fine. It won't loose any fluid either. Getting tired of this! What can I do?

    do a full brake fluid change sounds like ya brake fluid has broken down with time

    Sounds like water vapour in the brake fluid or a dodgy vac pump as that was causing a similar problem on my vec B dti

    Also bad lines (hoses) can cause that feeling, specially when brake fluid is hot....but is more likely to have air on the system as mentioned above
