Maybe its such a small problem hardly anyone has come across it? I had an 04 SXi 2.2 Direct and never had this problem......and its not a problem on my current car.

Seems to me that a LOT of newer cars have this problem, we see a NEW Beemer X5 sitting in a
carpark with all it's windows down and it was chucking it down at the time.

Not the first time I read this: several similar complaints on German forum: all windows open in the morning or stereo that puts itself on at full volume in the middle of the night... I've the impression its always prefacelift

Mine did this the other day too.

When I heard about this happening on other Vectra's I just assumed someone had the key jammed in their pocket and the remote open feature was accidentally triggered.

However, on mine, I left the car with the windows shut and went out for the day, came back and the passenger side was half down! No one else has a key for the car, no passengers had been in the car and I rarely open the windows myself for any reason.

It's only happened the once, so far...

they mentioned this on last nights top gear as being a problem with Porsche too. I assume it's related to a faulty relay?

I'm sure it happened to me once last year.

I came out of my house & both front windows were down.

I put it down to me catching the fob somehow.

    It's not happened since.

Not had it happen to me at all. I'll keep an eye on it though.

Never had a problem yet - but a mate with a Nissan pickup had it for weeks. Eventually they sorted him out with 2 new key fobs, and the problem hasn't happened again since.
