    confused Front lower spoiler question

Can anyone confirm the reason why it is not sutiable to have the front lower spoiler fitted to the 3.0 v6 diesel. Is it because it would restrict the airflow to the engine?

I have one fitted to mine - irmy one..... The reason I think is that the engine is so heavy its easy to bottom it out on small inclines in car parks as the springs take longer to push the body back up, I catch mine everywhere, with the local dentists being a complete no no as I nearly ripped it off comming out.
Now I need a turbo to keep up!

there is no mechanical reason why fitting a lower spoiler to a 3.0 v6 would be detrimental....none that i know of or have ever heard of anyway

No mate, you've seen mine. The spoiler just replaces your plastic trim which sits below the plastic tray under the engine. So it wouldn't effect air flow execpt to possibly increase it slightly as the spoiler has holes in it.

P.S. Went back yeasterday to Red Dot and ran 179.9@road, I'm catchin you . Once I fit that time flux capasiter you'll be mine

Possibly because of EURO4-emissions... the 3.0 V6 is just on the limit of the tolerated values, so any change could affect this in the wrong way. See the reason why 19" wheels are not allowed
