Forewarned is forearmed, as they say. I suppose someone would be daft enough to buy from someone like this, but I would imagine that our esteemed moderators would swoop like a sparrowhawk if any like this got posted

    Thanks....

Oh Yes!!!!! Not much gets past us

It could easy to be taken in by someone that "appears" to be an honest member. That is why we have a minimum membership period/post count to hopefully stop things like this happening on here.

I appreciate what your saying but I have seen posts in the Car chat forums asking what people thing things are worth and people do make offers, I realize that hey are all probably genuine members, But you never know especially if they donít list it in the for sale section & are newly joined.

So no one will be interested in the 400, i500 full body kit and alloys that I have @ £25 a go then?

What a scummer, he's targeted the 23 yr old's market, and took a good %age of their wages at the same time.

Gonna die of cancer, I've just karma'd it to him.

This is something that we do try to stop but every time we ask people to refrain from this type of post we always get the same response. "They are not really for sale yet, just testing the water to see what they are worth"
What do we do then? Do we take down every post of this nature and suffer the abuse we sometimes get as a result? We don't want to be seen to be "over protective" but we do try our best, in the interests of our members, to avoid all possible problems from trading on the forum.
