    Default Toyo proxes TR-1s

Sorry i know its another thread on tyres but

I'm going to change 2 tyres from the standard size 215/50/17 to 225/45/17s, most of you knowledgable lot seem to recommend the TR1s, my question is are these ok for an all year round tyre?as on blackcircles they state them as a summer tyre yet on the description say about the great water dispertion.

The T1R is a great allround tyre, don't get the t1s it's an earlier version which isn't so good.

T1R is an excellent all round tyre suitable for all weather conditions, but really good in the dry

same here, the T1-R is good in all conditions, best I've tried in the wet. T1-S is a summer only tyre and doesn't cope well with water.

Two words of advise: buy them!!
They are a fantastic tyre even in the wet and soooo much better than the bog basic NCT5's.
I did exactly the same last month and bought 2 T1-R's 225/45 17s for my standard SRi rims from blackcircles (£187 with 5% discount). Never looked back

Just the info I was looking for, so with 17's on my Elite could I go for 225/45/17 instead of 215/50/17? also How did you get 5% discount on black circles?

    T1R's all the way.

Internet shopping isn't the cheapest for tyres. One of the best is my local Vx dealer, tell them what price you can get them for and they match it.

Just had 2 x Toyo T1R's 235/40/18's fitted on the T8 for £120.50 each fitted and balanced including VAT.

If you want Toyos find an OFFICIAL Toyo dealer

When you go to buy the tyres online use code: bc121 or 1E419645 or RRAF or dirtbox - one of them will work!
