    Thumbs up coilovers

    hi there,

right, im thinking of avin the car lowered, been looking at coilovers today on the net,wot would you reccommend, been looking at fk automotive, koni, spax,if there going to be expensive then i will just go for a normal kit of the above, koni seem a reasonable price.

    cheers ppl.

if you have any pics with the above fitted it would be kind of you to post some pics if possible so i can see wot your motors look like.

    kev.

can't go wrong with the koni's.....very highly regarded setup.

is your signum the 3.0 litre diesel? if so have you asked whether they stock a kit for the higher axle weight vetra/signums?

ive got coilovers on my vec. ive got the kw coilovers.
i used to have fk cilovers on my old corsa 'b', i loved them. but they give a very hard ride, unless u get the fully adjustable kits.
mine are just height adjustable, but i dont mind the bumpy ride, as im used to it, and i actually prefer it like that.
my coilovers were 680 from demon tweeks, i think the fk's are sightly cheaper.
for the same amount, i believe u can get adjustable rate suspension set-up which will give a more comfortable ride.

    hope it helps

Blistein, cannot recommend them enough. has a set on a previous car and they are lovely. very expensive tho but well worth the money. Also a few of my friends have got or had blistein (not always coilovers) and said the same about them.

    Hi there,

Are those KW Variant 1 or 2 and how low you go?

I'm planning to get some lowering. One option could be Variant 2 (adjustable rebound force), 40/30mm settings, but a bit afraid how bumpy ride I'd get. Currently I have the factory sport suspension 15/15mm(?).

ive got the var 1 coilovers, just height adjustable.
ive got mine lowered at the lowest it will go at the minute, which is about 75mm.

its a very bumby and hard ride, not for people lookin for a comfy drive.
