Default Ipod nano car cradle? mounting etc?

Has anyone managed to mount an ipod nano in a vec C sri using either some sort of cradle or mount etc?
Ive seen a few cradles on ebay that are plugged into cig lighter and stand up from there (transmits signal to stereo via fm) but it would be in the way of the heating controls etc so its no good for Veccy!
I was looking at locating it to the right of the stereo somewhere, maybe using the vent, or one of the blanking sockets by alarm button?

anyone got any ideas or pics of their setups?

    Cheers
    Ste

    Question

Can always use a bracket from www.brodit.com or www.dashmount.co.uk to mount things on?
