    confused Are leather seats sweaty?

Currently drive a 1998 Mk3 Astra hoping to get a Vectra but the wife wants leather seats. Thing is, does the leather cause you to sweat compared with cloth? Anyway, whats the advantage of leather seats over cloth, apart from being posher?

Nope, they aren't sweaty - that's one of the advantages over them over other seats which don't allow air to flow through as well and can get your legs hot.

Advantages are that they are a damn site easier to clean - especially if anything is spilt on them and they smell nice!

OKay - one. Giving it some around a corner/roundabout you can tend to slide in the seat more than in a cloth seat - especially the Elite style seats!

Not when you have the heated seats option

Black leather seats in a black car can get a bit in summer until the aircon kicks in properly.

The only problem with Vauxhall leather is that 80% of it is vinyl, only the seat facings and door cards are actually leather.

The seat backs and sides and the headrests are vinyl.

Other than thins I love em!!
