    Default Re: VIN No

    Hi Guys,

    Quick question...

    I know that in relation to VIN No's the following applies;

    - W0L0ZCF35 Russelsheim
    - W0L0ZCF68 Ellesmereport

    But is there a W0L0ZCF48?

The reason why I ask is that I am looking at a (Tech Line) Field Remedy: 1669 (regarding incorrect fuel consumption reading) and it states that it applies to F35, F48 models. However mine is an F68.
Is it a type error, or are there 3 versions and this Field Remedy does not apply to my car?

Also the 5sp Auto that is mated to the Z32SE (3.2L V6), is it an AF23 or AF33?

    Any ideas?

    Glenn

    F35 is estate
    F69 is saloon 4 door
    F68 is hatchback 5 door
    F48 is Signum

Yes, there is a W0L0ZCF48 which signifies a Signum - that's what my VIN number starts with. I think it's the numbers further in the VIN that signify where it was built, those first bits just signify the model.

    Your box is AF33

FR 1669 seems to imply only F35 (estate) is affected and possibly F48 (Signum) so won't apply to yours.

Thanks Duncan. Holden only imported the F68 and F69 models here.

We usually call them station wagons.
