Right, I've had a chat with Mr RO Sir and he said I need to give you all some details of the forthcoming trackday I'm organising, so here goes...
First the important stuff:
The event underwriter (not me) may make a profit if you attend this day.
The next Mav & Co track day will be held on the new Anglesey circuit on Friday 15th June 2007. I'm hoping to use the new Costal Circuit layout, which can be seen at www.asvx77.dsl.pipex.com/misc/anglesey.pdf
The day is run and underwritten by bookatrack.com.
Cost will be £160, due to increases in circuit hire following the changes. The day will be OPEN PIT LANE.
To keep this event exclusive, we need 54 cars to attend.
You will need to have a user ID and be added to the 'privileged' user list to have access for booking the MAV & Co day.
To register with bookatrack, go to www.bookatrack.com/-pR
Once you have registered, you need to e-mail me with your real name, bookatrack user name and an e-mail address that I can forward further details to.
PLEASE ENSURE YOUR DEPOSIT (MIN 50%) IS FORWARDED ASAP TO SECURE THE EVENT.
These days are run on a very informal basis, with the emphasis on safety and fun.
Any questions, drop me an mail or post them here, and I'll get back to you, although I do hoep to be at the meeting this Sunday (25th Feb).
If you are tempted and want to see what it is all about, I'll be at Oulton Park on the 3rd March.

So the nitty gritty.
What is a trackday & what do you get?
A non competetive track based driveing event at a race circuit. No timing, racing or 'anti-social' driving is allowed. There are strict rules for overtaking, to ensure your day provides you with as much fun as you can handle.
The days are fully marshalled and medical facilities are on hand should they be needed (extremely rare, and never at any of my events).
What will you get for your £160 at this trackday?
The day will be open as 'Open Pit Lane' which means pretty much unrestricted lapping from 10 am to 1 pm and 2pm until 5.
2nd drivers and passengers are free. Additional drivers over the free allowance will attract an additional charge.
There is instruction available (usually £20 for 20 mins).
Insurance for your pride & joy is your responsibility. It is NOT required on track, however if you were to have an incident, then you are responsible for any damage to your vehicle, irrespective of cause.
