It's a belt... 100,000 miles on my 2006 1.9 CDTI 16v (150)... variable on others. Supposedly quite low on the 3.0 V6 CDTI's - allegedly as low as 45,000 miles

supposed to be 80000 or 8 years on the V6 diesel but its up to the owner!

i cant believe it goes for so long - my wife's golf GT GTi was 60k and i thought the vectra B was every 40k (im sure my old GSI was??)

good news if true as the one im looking at has 44k

they are long intervals but some like to change them early anyway. I think all the cdti's are 80-100k but its up to the owner when they get them changed. Petrols do seem to be lower for some reason

According to the service sheet on my last service (3.2 V6 petrol) it's 4 years/40k up to model year 2002, and 8 years/80k from model year 2003 onwards.

I'm on 65k and its due a service in the summer so I'll probably get it done then. The service sheet I have does not list the 1.9 engines though, so not much help on the original question, sorry.

Totally agree, would never consider leaving it for 100,000 miles, but then again it must be able to do it or Vauxhall would not declare this mileage?
