945 gal's displayed for trip consumption

I filled up yesterday and went on a 260 mile trip, when I reset the trip computer all of the data went to zero as normal. BUT the trip consumption says 945 gallons LMAO

I bet it's never used that amount of petrol since new.

I haven't reset it yet due to the amusement factor haha, I will post a pic later.

Has anyone else had this before ? what would confuse the thing into thinking that I wonder ?

how weird is that!?!? as Alex said, i had the same thing last week. filled up and reset again and everything seems back to normal.

@ simac, it does that from time to time, a good refill does sort it, mine had one of the other figures playing up when I got it, a refill did sort it.
