    Default Petrol

Did anybody get that e-mail about not filling up at BP, Esso. It was saying that if we boycotted (god knows if thats how you spell it, im sure someone will tell me ) these stations then they in turn would lower their prices to try and get people to go there, in turn then the other stations would have to reduce there prices, all made interesting reading if somebody still has it on e-mail perhaps they post it. anything is worth a go

That has been going round since the last fuel crisis. I don’t know if it would work but you gotta try something

boycotted is correct, I would have spelt it wrong with 1 'T'

The only with these two companies is that they offer some very ggod deals for Taxi firms, Leasing Companies etc. So a few clubs boycotting them is not going to make a big dent in their profits.

Such a shame though, It seems to me the british people have such a short memory. Labour **** up so many times !!! Everybody moans but it is soon forgotten. Motorists are getting raped at the moment, eberyone has the same views but they do not listenand us the public just re-elect them. crazy

If tax of fuel decreases, then tax somewhere else has to increase to generate the revenue to balance the national books. Either that, or we increase the national debt still further - which is a bad idea.

The only way to do it sensibly is it crack down on waste and ill-spending by the government. And the only way to do that is to elect a different government than Tony and his cronies.
The tax burden on the average person is the highest in history. Nice to know that all the 'labour years' has changed something - NOT.

Unfortunately, the Tories are, at the moment, unelectable and the Lib Dems are not all that credible either as a party in power.

Is it time for revolution? - most people can't be bothered.
Sad really, when there is so much in the world to change and lives / living standards that could be improved.
