    Default Crowded here, isn't it?

Not in the forums, I hasten to add. The more the merrier! I mean this country, and especially the roads.
I went to France at the weekend, (which I do quite a lot. If anyone wants any advice on Hotels or anything in the Pas De Calais region, I'll be happy to help) and the lovely open roads and empty motorways are such a contrast to what you find when you get back here. I know that France is a bigger country, but even so, it's sucha a shock when you hit the M20, (not too bad), then the M25 (AAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaggggghhhhhhhhh!)

    Phil

PS French Diesel is about 1.1 Euros a litre, and I averaged 40mpg all weekend!

I know what you mean m8!!!!

I go to Southern Ireland quite a bit to see family around the Wexford / Waterford and Wicklow and Dundalk area.

We have more people living in London than in the whole of Ireland!!!

where shall we all go. I quite like the sound of Monaco, what with the TAX advantages and all that.

Plus it has lots of eye candy and F1 Grand Prix

Iv'e just returned from 2 weeks in the South of France, drove all the way in my trusty Veccy without any problems what so ever. Apart from putting an extra 2600 miles on the clock! The roads are much better, and the lane discipline is worlds apart from thick and selfish Brits.

That is what causes most of the frustrated drivers on our motorways. It makes people drive right up the a**e of the car in front, thus causing more accidents. I lived in Germany and the discipline on the autobahns is excellent. People just move over to let you passed it's brill.

We've got too many drivers in this country who think they are there to police the roads, sitting in the outside lane doing just over 70mph. Pull over and leave it to the professionals.

    Rant over.

Just got back from Mexico, (not in my car ) but they dont even have a test, they just buy their licence for 200 pasos . The trafic flows quite well as there are little rules and everybody just expects everybody to do something stupid and some how it works.
Scary I can tell you when you first see it
