Default Idling At 1200rpm Whilst Coasting

Do they all do it, noticed it today whilst I coasted down a road for about half a mile. The rev counter sat a little over 1k until I came to a stop at the junctin when it settled down to where you'd expect it to be.
Have noticed it behave like this from time to time in the past. Is this normal?

Guessed that was the case if it wasn't a fault.

It also keeps the revs there for the vacuum on the servo - helps you stop

Doesn't do it in any other gear, and didn't ever do it before the remap. Also never does it in neutral.
