Default Waiting for my alloys :(

I ordered a brand new set of 18" Pentas (Astra alloys) with new dunlop tyres for my Vectra. They were supposed to arrive on Wednesday as promised by the dealer as they were picked up from them on Monday with 48hour delivery. Still no sign of them 96hours later

The dealer is trying to find out from Parcel Force what the hold up is.

    I want my wheels!!

    225/40/ZR 18 Dunlop SP-01 ultra-low profile sports tyres

I agree, parcel force is usually quite good, so I think something went wrong on the dealers end... but they say they've been picked up?

    BTW..
What tyre pressure should I be using for them when they eventually arrive?

    I've got my alloys!!

I couldn't do with all the hassle the delivery company was doing, so I drove 60miles to go and pick them up from their depo. Vauxhall had made a spelling mistake on my street name, and because it didn't match the postcode anymore Parcel Force couldn't deliver anywhere.

Just having some lunch then they're getting cleaned and going on the car
    Pics will be soon.

    Thumbs up

Let me guess Danlat - Thurlby Wheel deal by any chance?!

I had the same deal on my Astra. They are good, just watch the lacquer is ok on wheels tho. They have been in storage for a good while. If they are from Thurlby that is?

    Well they are on !!!!!!

It's so amazing how the wheels can completely change your perception of a car..

    Before

    After

I'm so impressed with them. They're in good condition too, to say they were set in cardboard boxes taped round the outside because too big for boxes with tyres on. Just got a little transfer of colour from some carrier bags they put in to stop getting scratched. Came off with some T-Cut.

    What you guys think?

To say they are 18" there is still a fair bit of space above the wheel... may have to get it lowered

I think the ride is a lot smoother now too. It was like a boat with 215/55/16 on before.
Get a slight more road noise, but a comfier ride.
