Hi.

I'm Alex... and yes, I'm from Romania. That much you you know already.

I'm a proud owner of a late 2004 Vectra C model. Yes, it's the crappy-engined one but I've gotten attached to its sluggish yet loving style of giving me everything it has to offer.

Naturally, here it's an Opel and not a Vauxhall.

It's a 1.6 101hp Vectra.

I've added the Irmscher 4-tip exhaust, some side spoilers, a rear air diffuser, a nice little boot-spoiler, some lexus-styled tail lamps, swapped the CD-only stereo for a sony dvd screen-out-of-nowhere player, exchanged the 15" rims for some 17" oz alloys and garnished with the regular "i have a nice engine" chrome window-sills.

I am ordering some Irmscher springs and a new facelifted front bumper, and some other small details.

Also, I am looking into adding a nice turbocharger to up the power a little more. Going for the new Corsa/Astra 1.6 turbocharger which takes power up to 160 to 190 hp, and it's Opel/Vauxhall approved... sort of. Actually, I am looking into not damaging the engine. I've talked with some tuning firm and they wanted to sell me a whole package that would've gotten me 315 hp but it seemed excessive and they would've changed everything from the pistons to the clutch... and they warned me that in 60.000 km the gearbox would just melt away.

Anyway, I have been reading this forum for a while but never got to register. Well... here I am.
