    confused New Tyres Required

Stay with me i''ve got a few questions.

My current tyres are the NCT 215/50 R17 91W

I swapped the front to rear last weekend but really the rears now require replacing, cars done about 18K.

    What tyres do you recommend?
Should i stick with the same tyre size?
If not what size can i put on?
Should i have the new tyres on the back or change them back round so the new tyres would be on the front?

Or!!! should i sack it and buy some bigger rims????

    God, not tyres again!!

You can go to 225/45/17's with no problem. I have done this and saved a shed load of cash, they're about 25% cheaper than the 215's.

Have a look on www.mytyres.co.uk Choose what you'd like from there. I'm on the Goodyear Eagle F1's, So far they're on about 12k, and about half worn which is nice and they grip like a bastid too!

Back to front, I wouldn't worry too much, It's a Vectra, not an Enzo!

    Hope this helps!!

lovely looking motor you have there mate, stick with the wheels and tyres you got mate, they suit the car

use the my tyre site under £100 each(not bad and they do wear pretty good),vauxhall charge 130 odd squid fitted per tyre....

just my opinion, but if you do wanna change them vxr ones are bl**dy lovely

If you want good grip in all weathers I'd suggest the Toyo Proxes T1-R
If you want an all round tyre go for thee Goodyear Eagle's

If you change to a different tyre size I'd recommend you change all 4 tyres
