    Default Door rub strips

    Hi...Can someone tell me is there any holes under the door rub strips...and are they best left on or better off...thinking about taking them off along with the elegance badges

    i beleive i'm right in saying there are some plastic pins in the back of it..

    Duncans had his trim strips off.. why not ask him...

    D!!!... over to you....I can't remember 100%

    Yep, you're right Mark - the rub strips have a number of locating pins and therefore hole(s) in the door.

    If you wanted to de-trim the doors, you'd need to do a bit of filling in and get the doors resprayed.

    Thanks for that...the rub strips will be staying then..there is no holes behind the badges is there

    nope. just really sticky foam....use some glue and tar remover, not thinners..

    No holes behind the badges, I couldn't wait to get rid of the Elegance badges off my old car either (sounded old fogey to me )
