I don't want the radio on!!

Could someone tell me, if it is possible, how to stop the radio/CD coming on whenever I start the car?

It gets a bit annoying having to keep turning it off.

Yes, on the CD70 I think you do it in a menu through the display using the System button (I think) to get into the menu. I don't have a CD70 so don't know the exact sequence - on my CCR2006 it's done by holding and pressing the on button whilst turning the ignition on - or something like that. Have a look in your audio manual and it'll be in the index under something like Ignition On. You can turn it off so that the unit will only turn on with ignition if you turned off the ignition with the unit on.

I get this trouble on my 2006, but it seems to be something to do with the Nokia car kit.

right.. logged on to the VX website and it tells me you can turn off the ignition logic on a CCR2006 like this....

switch on the ignition..
turn the radio off with the power button
press and hold in preset buttons 1 and 3 simultaniously..do not let go..
turn on the radio power again..
hold in 1 and 3 until you hear a conformation 'beep' and the display shows the message 'ignition logic on/off' and it changes to logic 'off'..

to reverse it, just do the same thing again and it will flip states back to ignition controlled..
