Default Painting the facelift grille V....help!!

Guys I fancy painting the V grille on my facelift. How does the bl***y thing come off?
Is it a bumper removal job or can you leave it on there and work on it on the car?
I know a few of you out there have done it, so answers on a postcard gratefully accepted

    hi m8

i`d get the vxr v grille moulding in primer and paint it as i`ll be far quicker
and easier than rubbing the chrome off etc,i believe its very fiddley removing
the chrome v but there is a few ppl thats removed it without taking the
bumper off,if you pm-designforlife as he done his yesterday and he give you
    more info on removing it.
