    Default Spare Wheel key

Got a puncture on Sunday. Went to replace the wheel and found that spare wheel key is missing from the box....Ah Pooh!.

I used it when I painted the calipers in the summer and I remember saying to myself DON'T LOOS THAT!

Any idea how much a new one is? I have the code and I know it has been discussed recently....but can't find it.

Oh and quick fit said 170.00 for a new tyre!

Cheers Mark. I'd still need a new set. Would I risk a drill near a spotless set of alloys for the sake of a tenner? I don't think so!

My key number in the box didn`t match the locks on the wheels !! Hopefully yours will be a match but at least if it isn`t you can get them off, I had a nightmare ...

    Wink

What Power? With all this working away, the cars only done 20 miles since I got her home! It was probably more to do with the 4 inch screw in the tyre shoulder if you ask me.

I had a similar problem.. The previous owner of my Vectra tightened the locking nut stupidly tight, so the key split and was useless. Had to order a new one from Vauxhall using the Code.

£34!! give or take a penny or 2.
