    Default Insurance premium...again

got my renewal premium from Norwich Union last week and nearly fell off my chair, they wanted over £900 to Insure my 1.9 CDTi.

this is the second time NU have tried this, dont make any claims but hike the premium up hoping that your too lazy to get another quote (tried getting a new online quote =£450 without mods

anyway I just phoned Adrian Flux and got fully comp cover, and mods declared for £413 - result

so give them a try if you reckon your paying too much.

another note about NU, they Insured my vec with mods declared, but told me I couldn't make anymore modifications to the car

No more mods??? ......i dont think so

I have just re-insured with Admiral. They have a multi car policy so you can insure upto 5 cars in your household on one policy. I have insured 2 and saved myself £240 for the year!!!
Worth a look if your about to renew.

A few of us on here are using Barry Grainger, they use the same under writer as Adrian Flux but more often than not come out cheaper.

Don't mention Barry Grainger in our house..

when C went to get a quote from them it was all nice and smiles.. then they rang back after about a half hour to ask ' have you ever driven high power cars then' condasending TW*T...

not all women drive nissan micra's.. it was as much as i could do to prise her our of the V6 cav or the VX220 turby....

going to do the rounds for mine..wonder if they'll ask me that question?..
