bought this yesterday, replaced my original cdr2005 as it was playing up.

not bad and goes well with the rest of the dash.

    Kev,
I was thinking of doing this as my CDR2005 is also playing up.... Do you lose any functionality on the centre information display?

As far as I know Alpine do an adapter thing to keep the functions in the centre unit display, similar to the steering wheel control adapters

Best place to ask I think is a Local Alpine Dealer, they will usually know what you want.

price wise - I think the steering wheel adapter is about £30-50 Depending on the Headunit, The Display adapters are going to be more, how much more I am not entirely sure. It depends on the Dealer and what they want.

Yeah Sounds about right - I remember one for a Corsa was nearly £50, it is a bit pricey, but it is something you really need I suppose.
