    Default mex guy needs 3.2 help

    im jose the mexican jajajaj.... so here we go..
    ive got a vectra, its a 2004 3.2 v6, its got about 211hp i think and about 300 nm of torque (i have no idea what nm is..). i really need help for finding parts, anything that is not a turbo or supercharger that will help get the hp up without lowering the torque.... pleease no one in mexico can help me theyre a bunch of "!·$"·$.... and if you can actually help pleaseee specifiy the name of the part and about how much it costs and how much do u think it will help. honestly thank you very much. ive got about 20 000 mexican pesos wich is about 2 000 us dollars or about 1,402 euros or about 933.17 pounds, i dont know whats your currency jajajaja. ive been saving for aboust half a year and i am diying to tune up. thank you very much,

    the best thing you can do with your money is get a better air cleaner, a better sports exhaust and then get a remap of the engine software, Big Phil on here runs a 253HP car, and my wife runs a 240HP one..

    you should be able to source most of this in mexico..even the re-map if you have any good engine tuners out there..

    ok, but i heard that the only thing you can do to the air induction system on the vectra is already great, that the only thing i should do is only change the filter to a performance one, what do you think? im not reall godd with understanding the exaust thing.. what do you mean that i should change? and the remaping, is it undoable, imean is it a on off thing?

    the airbox has a piece of plastic in it which is restrictive.. remove it and fit a K+N panel filter, this will help the induction..

    for the exhaust, get a freeflow system from the catalyser back.. your local speed shop should be able to make one up for you..

    a remap is permanent, but it will release more power..it will always be 'on' ..

    THANK YOU VERY MUCH jajajajaj that did really help out, now do you think i will have tech problems with the ditr getting in the engine, maybe i dont nkow im no genius jajaj, but i read some threads saying you are damiging your engine and that the company builds it like that for a reason... i dont nkow so maybe youve got an idea on it? o and what is the BEST air filter i should use? um and what is that that some guy named bigphill has? of a new kn induction system? does that really work better?

    it seems to work well on his car.....

    I use a K+N and have never had any problems with it..most problems with K+N's seem to be when they clean them wrong..

    it won't hurt your car..i've had one in for 25,000 miles now..

    o ok thanks man im actually going tomorow to go buy the filter but i dont know wich is better if the kn shown on the how to or the ACdelco one, the delco is a bit cheaper than the kn but price doesnt matter..

    ooo i forgot theres one more , theres also the Afraid filter, its the one that costs the most
