    Default The New Vectra

Anyone know when it's hitting the showroom? I can't seem to find out if it's later this yr, or next yr, don't want to buy a facelift if the new model is due very soon.

My mates just ordered a 1.9 CDTi Estate Auto, got it for £17.5k brand spankers in a Design spec from a Vx dealer.

I luv my auto box, wouldn't want to be with it now, but don't forget VV, the auto box realistically costs you 4-6mpg compared to a manual.

The latest copy of Auto Express has a list of current models being axed this year. the Vec C isnt on it. The VX boys are concentrating on the new Astra at the mo which is due in 2010. Most updates to a car have to run for around 3 years to make it pay, so I reckon the facelift has some miles to run yet.

I would not take seriously what auto express print, they are always wrong.

As it stands the Vectra C replacement should debut at the European motorshows in autumn 2008, UK show rooms will see it early 2009, unless it is brought forward.

We should see the Vectra replacement before Astra as Astra 'I' is due in 2010.
