    Default Removing rear bumper

Does anyone know how to remove rear bumper from the Vectra?

I'm upgrading from LS/SXi bumper to SRI and I'll do it today if it doesn't rain too much.
Maybe attempt the SRI Backbox upgrade too.

    Thanks
    Dan

    yep, it's easy..

remove the torx screws from the rear of the rear wheel arch liners, both sides..

remove the 2 torx screws from up by the rear number plate lamps..

remove both the rear light clusters ( hidden bumper lugs behind them)..

now, starting from the wheelarch, gently pull the bumper out of the friction fitting on the 1/4 panels, till you get back to the hole where the lights where...it will be tight, but you can get your hand behind to push them out of the clip..

then prise the lugs out of the fittings in the light cluster hole.

    repeat for the other side..

now just pull it back, off the boot lip friction fitting, and it will fall off

remove the number plate lamp wiring connector..check the 2 lower tabs have fell off as well..

    bumper is now off..

Got called off on account of the rain.

I seem to have a problem with it too. When I put the new bumper next to the car, the colour seems to be different. The bumper seems to have a slight brownish tint to it, and not a crisp black that it should be. Sorry no pics.
It got worse orange peel effect than the original paintwork so it's going back to the paintshop with some harsh words!! I didn't notice when I picked it up because it was half 4 and getting dark.
