    Default Xenon Headlight Question

Can some one shed a light on this subject? what is AFL xenon, and what are my pre-facelift GSi xenons?

AFL is short for Adaptive Front Lighting, They are both Xenons, but with the AFL the Lights move with the direction you are steering, they follow the corner round so that you can see what is coming before you are on top of it on bends, also it automatically levels the headlights out. If im wrong some one correct me please. this is just my understanding of it

Came around the roundabout a little fast the other from a left bend onto it and then swinging right... Came up behind a vehicle and stopped hard... For a split second there my poor ole headlight hadnt caught up with me and saw it swing from looking right back to straight ahead. was funny lol.

That just means you have the self-levelling, but not AFL.

AFAIK, all factory xenon headlamps should be self-levelling. The "standard" xenon lamps use xenon gas discharge bulbs for the low beam and conventional halogen lamps for the high beam. AFL uses the same bulbs for low and high beam, with a movable reflector. This means you effectively get xenon for both low and high beam. Plus, as breezephil said, they can move with the steering. Hope this helps.
