    Default numptie on the news

did anyone catch the eejit reckoning that the friendly fire pilot was a hero, and, also his comments about WW2 in particular. He reckons he can say it cos he is a VIETNAM "VET". what a waste of a good set of working clothes. the guy needs a lobotomy just to give him a chance of a brain.

I was talking with Mrs Spoons about this last night....

It isnt hard to find a 'VET' in America who is prepared to spout off...

I think it was deliberately 'aired' to raise the hackles of the british public...

America's world popularity is plummeting as it is....

He voiced some classic hilarious lines though "British troops cant shoot, communicate and move at the same time" - "We need more heros in our army like him" (refering to the guy who killed the british soldier" - "We dont need your participation (refering to the British Army)... We need your co-operation" ... and on.... and on.... and on....

i'm not knocking the pilot in any way or form, as you say, he made a mistake, and IN WAR, mistakes happen, but the pleb of a neighbour is surely a candidate for compulsory euthanasia

I'm in the forces and to be honest I think its an un believable unprofessional waste of tax payers money. To put it another way if the AA fixed your wheel but didn't tighten the bolts up properly and you crashed and killed someone, they would have been in the worl d of ****. To ruin a families life and just put him down to poor recognition and call him a hero makes me ashamed that I am working for the same purpose that they are. Sorry id this offends anyone.

Well to honest Skip, I agree and its a comment held by many many of my friends especially when your sat in a tin can in 50 degree heat listening to news of proper heros and the disasterous things that happen over there. I'm proud of the job I do and do it to the utmost of my abilities. Mistakes jus don't happen in those situations just trigger happy people that jus don't think. Ok I'm not gonna comment anymore think I've said my peice, again sorry if I have offended anyone.

I saw it as well. I was ferking fuming.

The american jets were useless without our Tornados marking targets with their lasers. These ferking yanks think they can do it all on their own. Well, we've got news for them - they can't.

We used to call them SPAM when I was in the RAF.

    S - spastic
    P - plastic
    A - american
    M - mother ferkers

If I offend anyone I'm sorry, but I bet your not offended as much as this yank did.
